Tucked away in a quiet setting only 15 minutes from downtown New Orleans, Equest Farms is a full-service horseback riding facility for the hunter/jumper.
Visitors can find 13 acres of stables and 40 horses. Lessons are available for students at all levels, as well as summer and holiday camps for children and facilities for Pony Parties, field trips and more.English riding lessons are available for individuals or families. There are four full-time and three part-time instructors on the staff; each has a minimum of five years of teaching experience.
Equest Stables are surrounded by the beautiful lagoons and golf courses of City Park and give the visitor the feeling of being in the country, while only minutes away from the center of New Orleans.
Visitors are asked to wear jeans and hard-soled shoes. Helmets are available at the stables. Trail rides are not offered.
