UP/Unique Products is a fun and funky New Orleans centric store and art gallery showcasing the creative eco artwork , chandeliers and home accessories locally made by Mark Kirk and Heather Macfarlane , who have been creating unique products from culturally relevant recycled objects such as Mardi Gras beads , upcycled festival banners and found objects since 1999 in Lower Garden District of New Orleans . The artists design and build handmade lighting , gifts and accessories as well are providing custom design and installation , their work can be seen in various restaurants , clubs , bars and galleries throught the Gulf South as well as nationally , and have been featured on CNN , The Food Network , MTV , HBO ,NBC, HGTV as well as countless TV / Film sets , museums and private collections.
