The Official 2008 Jazz Fest Express

Hop on board the only shuttle that will bring you right inside the gates of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. Taking music fans roundtrip to and from the Fair Grounds, this air-conditioned service is operated by Gray Line Tours. Both shuttle and Jazz Fest tickets will be on sale at 9:30 a.m. at shuttle departure locations on the days of the festival. Advance tickets are also available. All shuttles begin operating at 10:30 a.m. and will operate until all patrons have been transported from the Fair Grounds, about 7:30 p.m.

If you're staying at a hotel in the French Quarter or in the Central Business District, take a Gray Line shuttle from one of two downtown locations:

If you're driving to the Fest, park at Marconi Meadows in City Park, and take Gray Line's shuttle to the Fair Grounds from there.  Prices include parking

Driving Directions to Marconi Meadows

Approaching New Orleans on I-10 East (from Baton Rouge and Lafayette)
After passing the Bonnabel Blvd. exit, get in the 2nd lane. At the Jefferson/Orleans parish line, take the 610 exit (toward Slidell). Get in your right lane and take the Canal Blvd. exit. Take a left on Canal Blvd. and follow the signs.

Approaching New Orleans on I-10 West (from Slidell and Biloxi)
After crossing the Highrise Bridge, get in your right lane and take 610 (toward Baton Rouge) and take the Canal Blvd. exit. Take a left on Canal Blvd. and follow the signs.

JAZZ FEST EXPRESS AND ADVANCE ADMISSION TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS ON APRIL 23 & 24 (FOR THE 1st WEEKEND) AND ON April 29 & April 30 (FOR THE 2nd WEEKEND)
