Harrah's Presents FREE "Movie Nights" on Fulton Street this Summer

Southern Decadence

As part of its “Reasons to Love New Orleans” promotion, Harrah’s New Orleans presents “Movie Nights” on Fulton Square this summer, featuring two classic films about New Orleans or filmed here.

Admission is free to this series of Saturday night events in the Fulton Street Mall in front of Harrah’s Hotel and Fulton and Poydras streets. The films being shown and the dates are as follows:

  • Saturday, July 25
    A Streetcar Named Desire
  • Saturday, August 22
    Interview with the Vampire

Film times are 8:00 p.m. Seating begins at 7:00.

Admission to “Movie Nights” is open to the public at no charge, courtesy of Harrah’s New Orleans. There will be limited theatre-style seating, plus highboy tables. Guests may bring their own chairs. Movie snacks and beverages are available for sale. No outside food or beverages will be allowed.

Live Entertainment in Harrah’s Casino Theater

In addition to sponsoring “Movie Nights,” Harrah’s also offers a wide range of live entertainment in the Casino Theater this summer. Among the scheduled acts are:

  • Joe Piscopo – July 18: 7 & 10 p.m. Enjoy an evening filled with laughs with this star of NBC's "Saturday Night Live."
  • The Bluzmen – July 24-25: 7 &10 p.m. This high-energy, musical performance pays tribute to "The Blues Brothers" (Dan Aykroyd and the late John Belushi).
  • American English – August 7: 7 &10 p.m. A tribute to the Beatles with costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects.
  • Irma Thomas – August 15: 8:00 p.m. Featuring the classic R&B sound of the Grammy-winning “Soul Queen of New Orleans.”

Tickets for all shows are on sale now and may be purchased in person the day of the event at Harrah's box office, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or online at Ticketmaster.com. You must be at least 21 to enter the casino and attend shows at Harrah's Theatre.
