Coming to Harrah's In February
Harrah’s New Orleans continues its tradition of offering high-quality entertainment and special events in February, with three performances of the award-winning Off-Broadway musical comedy, Altar Boyz. Also coming to the casino in February is best-selling author Jackie Collins.
Altar Boyz will be performed in Harrah’s Theater on Friday and Saturday, February 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 21 at 2 p.m. This inspirational story of five small-town boys trying to save the world is so extraordinary that it could be a celebration of its own.
Winner of the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical and winner of the 2006-07 Broadway.com Audience Favorite Award, Altar Boyz offers 90 minutes of music, laughs and fun. On Saturday, February 27 from 2-4 p.m., best-selling author Jackie Collins stops by Harrah’s New Orleans Masquerade for a free and open to the public book signing and meet-and-greet. She will be promoting her latest novel, Poor Little Bitch Girl, a new, sexy and explosive novel set in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
Things get jazzy inside Masquerade every Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m. at the live Jazz Happy Hours. This free and open to the public event features some of the best local jazz New Orleans has to offer including Sharon Martin, February 4; BRW, February 18; and Tonia, February 25.

And, of course, you can enjoy 24-hour gaming in the 115,000 square-foot casino just steps away from the French Quarter at the foot of Canal Street. There you’ll find over 2,100 video poker and slot machines ranging from a penny a pull to $500. Coming Up at Harrah’s
Returning to Harrah’s Theater on Saturday, March 6 at 8 p.m., is New Orleans native comedienne Jodi Borrello. A regular at The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas, Jodi & Friends promise a night of fun and laughter, seasoned with Brazilian-spiced music and dance.
Also appearing on the bill will be the Brazilian sounds and dance of CASA SAMBA; Late Nite Catechism's Amanda Hebert; up and coming comedian, Rhonda Bordelon; and New Orleans' own military comedian, Misty Jackson.
