Harrah's Happenin's in March
Get ready to be spanked!
Not literally, of course, but rather entertained. The Harrah's Casino Theater in downtown New Orleans will be hosting the new touring show, SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody from March 5-17.
Packaged as a parody of the best-selling book, Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James (but not associated with, nor authorized by the author or her publisher), SPANK! is being billed as "the hilarious new musical that brings all the naughty fun of the best-selling book to life." The humor is lewd and sexually oriented, geared more toward producing laughs than stimulating prurient fantasies.
Produced by Mills Entertainment, one of the nation's leading producers and promoters of branded live entertainment, SPANK! is currently on a multi-city tour of the U.S. and Canada and the show has been getting rave reviews in the media nearly everywhere it has been staged.
Show times are at 8 p.m. nightly Monday through Saturday, with 3 p.m. matinees on Sundays. Ticket prices are $29.75 and $39.75.
Tickets for the shows at Harrah's are now on sale at the theater box office, on the Poydras Street side of the casino adjacent to the escalator and tunnel that leads to the parking garage. Tickets may also be ordered online at the casino's website or through Ticketmaster or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
Following the show or at any other time in the evening, come party and have a cool drink in Masquerade, Harrah's Casino's fabulous nightclub. Masquerade is in the center of the casino and it reigns as New Orleans' coolest after-hours gathering place. With its ice bar, hot music, giant video tower, ultra lounge and more, you are sure to experience the time of your life.
On Wednesday nights, starting at 10 p.m., #ElectroMasq rocks the house with dubstep and electronica music. Then, through Sunday nights, again starting at 10 p.m., hip hop and Top 40 are the features, brought to you by a hip, live, local deejay, and you can watch the fabulous Masquerade Dancers on weekend late nights. There is a cover charge on specific nights.
Or, if you are still into the gaming mood and want to enjoy it with some "atmosphere," Masquerade can accommodate you with its own signature slots and table games. You can play and drink and listen to great music all at the same time.

You must be 21 years of age to enter the casino.
