The print ads celebrate the music, food, history, and architecture of New Orleans. Beautiful post-Katrina photography will appear in national magazines with broad distribution including top travel and lifestyle magazines such as Travel+Leisure, Food & Wine, Southern Living, and Southern Accents. Newspaper ads to promote special events have been created, as well as special advertorial sections in The New Yorker and Texas Monthly to reach the upscale cultural visitor.
Television Commercial
The central theme of “Come Out and Play in New Orleans!” television spots illustrates the city’s ongoing festivals and events and speaks to all ages, cultural backgrounds, and personalities. Television spots will air in regional markets that visit the city most often including Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, Jackson, Nashville, and New York. New Orleans’ local advertising agency, Peter A. Mayer Advertising Inc., assisted NOTMC in executing the campaign, with nationally-known Kenny Morrison directing.
