Bachelor Party in New Orleans

With the lively clubs and wild activities on Bourbon Street, New Orleans is the go-to destination for bachelor parties. And in addition to the crazy nightlife, the city offers an abundance of fun and unique opportunities to celebrate the groom and get in some good bro time before the wedding. Here are some recommendations for what to do for the most epic bachelor party and the hours leading up to it:

  1. Kayaking Through the Swamp
    NOLA Motorsports
    Crescent City Steaks
    Golf in City Park
    Commander's Palace
    Live Music in Marigny
Experience Louisiana’s stunning wetland with a swamp tour.
  2. Spend the day with you buds on a fishing boat charter.
  3. Test your luck at Harrah's Casino.
  4. Test drive a Ferrari at Nola Motorsports Park. Yes, you actually get to drive it. Grab a beer at Courtyard Brewery or NOLA Brewery and Tap Room.
  5. Enjoy and hand-rolled cigar at the Cigar Factory.
  6. Get your adrenaline fix by jumping out of plane with Skydive Nawlins or Gulf Coast Skydivers.
  7. Play a round of golf at the City Park or Audubon Park golf courses.
  8. Sit back and relax with a hot towel shave at Aidan Gill for Men.
  9. Go bowling New Orleans style at Fulton Alley or Rock n’ Bowl.
  10. Take the 15 dozen oysters challenge at Acme Oyster House.
  11. Try your luck out by betting on horses out at the Fair Grounds.
  12. Get your meat fix at one of the city’s great steakhouses.
  13. Take the streetcar to Commander's Palace for their Jazz Brunch or 25 cent martinis on a week day.
  14. Check out antique guns and swords at Cohen Antiques on Royal Street.
  15. Take a day trip to the north side of Lake Pontchartrain and tube down the Bogue Chitto.
  16. Get beignets and a cafe au lait at the famous Cafe du Monde in Jackson Square.
  17. Plan your bachelor party to coincide with one of the city’s many events and festivals.
  18. Check out some live music at the House of Blues, Tipitina’s, or the Howlin’ Wolf.
  19. Enjoy some free Jazz in Louis Armstrong Park during their ongoing weekly concert series or check out one of the clubs on Frenchmen St.
  20. Sacrifice your dignity singing karaoke at Cat’s Meow.
  21. Here on a game day? Cheer your home team on at one of the city’s many sports bars.
  22. Hear some exciting war stories and see authentic WWII paraphernalia at the World War II museum.
  23. Sample high-end bourbons with one of the five bourbon flights at Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House.
Swing by Bourbon Street – no bachelor party would be complete without it.
