Amtrak offers routes to New Orleans from a number of cities across the country. Three trains service the New Orleans area:

• Crescent: Daily service originating in New York City at Penn Station, with stops in Philadelphia PA, Baltimore MD, Washington DC, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA, Birmingham AL, Meridian MS, and small towns along the way. Amtrak Hours of Operation

Hours of operation subject to change. Please call to verify hours before making travel arrangements. The station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ticketing office is open from 5:45 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. seven days a week. Baggage service is available from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. seven days a week.
