New Orleans Cocktails and Classic Drinks

A Traditional New Orleans Cocktail

Like many things in New Orleans, the Mimosa cocktail is a French import that has made its way into the city's tradition and onto our tables. Mimosas are a refreshingly light alternative to New Orleans' other favorite brunch beverages such as the spicy Creole Bloody Mary and the sugary-sweet Brandy Milk Punch. While the Mimosa is not specific only to New Orleans, it seems to have truly met its match alongside the traditional Brunch staples. Relive the New Orleans Sunday Brunch experience at home by preparing decadent mid-morning fare paired with this classic champagne cocktail.

Mimosa Recipe

Combine 3 parts champagne with 2 parts chilled orange juice and serve in a champagne flute
