Just across the river from busy downtown New Orleans, Algiers is the beautiful homey neighborhood with a vibrant music and arts scene, and a strong connection to New Orleans history dating back to 1870.

The Event

Every Fall, Algiers will host its annual Fall Festival to honor our military and celebrate its beloved community. You can bring the whole family out to Federal City (2500 General Meyer Ave.) for an entire day of live music, local art, food trucks and more!

The festival typically runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., it’s FREE and open to public.

Entertainment

This is no ordinary Fall Festival, as the music lineup includes some of the local legends that make this city so unique. Previous artists have included:

  • The Marine Corps Band
  • Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band
  • Young Pinstripe Brass Band
  • The Buck Town Allstars
  • Little Freddie King

Attendees can also expect to find children’s activities, art vendors, food trucks and other surprises!
